The Acorn Blue team have enjoyed getting involved in an ongoing initiative for local charity Children’s Hospice South West. As our new development The Courtyard at Duporth progresses, Acorn Blue approached the charity to organise an on site bacon roll sale to keep staff fuelled. With all donations going towards the charity, our on site cooks, courtesy of the Blue office, have raised over £500 in proceeds to date.

Children’s Hospice South West has been working for over 25 years caring for children with life-threatening conditions by providing children’s hospice and professional family support services in the South West.

Bernadette Chambers, Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser for Children’s Hospice South West said:

“On behalf of all the children and families that we support at our Little Harbour children’s hospice in St Austell I would like to thank all of the team from Acorn who have supported us with their bacon roll fundraising! This is a great example of how simple fundraising can be so effective in raising vital funds that are much needed to ensure we can continue supporting local families when they stay with us for respite or end of life care.”
