We’re delighted to announce that we have obtained a resolution to grant planning permission subject to the signing of an S106 for a fantastic scheme on Topsham Road in the St Leonards area of Exeter. The new scheme by Acorn’s Bristol region will consist of one-hundred and forty-six homes in addition to a sixty-one-bed care home and sixty-eight assisted living units. Located on the current site of the Exeter Royal Academy for Deaf Education, this new scheme will bring new homes and facilities to the area as well as enabling the academy to move to a new site.

To get this scale of development through in one committee, and so quickly, is a credit to our willingness to work with the local community and stakeholders and to Acorn’s regional team and all consultants involved. We anticipate construction will start on site in 2019.
