Acorn Cardiff take part in annual RNLI Sail Day

The Acorn Cardiff team recently took part in the annual RNLI Sail Day where they enjoyed sailing in a 65-foot boat, which was kindly provided by Challenger Wales.

As part of the main RNLI fundraising event for Penarth lifeboat station, over 20 yachts took part in the annual Cardiff Bay race. The team and guests were put to work helping the professional crew with the handling of the sails and even the steering.

We’re very pleased to have made a donation in aid of this important cause and a huge thank you to the organisers for such a wonderful day.
