Last week we held a ‘topping out’ ceremony to celebrate the roof installation of Oculus House at our development, Brandon Yard in Bristol. This marked a key milestone in the development and we were delighted to be able to celebrate with all of those who have helped make this site such a success.
The Lord Mayor of Bristol, Councillor Cleo Lake and the Lord Mayor’s Consort, Lord Mayoress Bianca Denecia Caroline Durrant were in attendance as were local press and purchasers of the development. All of the guests were given the chance to get a tour of the site as well as an opportunity to enjoy a rarely seen view over Bristol’s harbour from a crane basket.
At the ceremony, Lord Mayor of Bristol, Councillor Cleo Lake, commented: “It’s good to see the area being regenerated and it’s great to get to know the developers and construction teams and how they work in Bristol. Construction works such as these can bring a real economic benefit to the city as well as helping new people and young people find jobs in the construction industry.”
Brandon Yard will be ready for occupation in Spring 2019.
