We are currently looking for a Graduate Quantity Surveyor based in our Newquay office to join our busy Commercial Team, reporting to the Senior Quantity Surveyor and assisting in the day to day management of our residential new-build projects. You’ll be involved in various aspects of surveying, including assisting with subcontractor selection, managing subcontractor accounts, preparing valuations and contributing to financial reporting. We are happy to support the successful candidate through the RICS APC.
Role and Responsibility
- Cost Management / Quantity Surveying
- Cost Estimates/Planning – elemental and detailed
- Prepare and update elemental and detailed cost items
- Pre & post contract surveying duties
- Close liaison with Clients and Consultants
- Research products and cost analysis
- Contract Administration
- Commercial Monitoring
Qualifications / Experience
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and hard-working, a fast learner with attention to detail, and they will have some knowledge of residential property market. A minimum requirement for this position is a degree in Quantity Surveying. A full clean UK driving license is required and access to a vehicle.
