In November 2020 Chris and Mette from the London team will be embarking on another amazing project with ActionAid. Following the huge impact of their work and fundraising during their 2018 trip to Rwanda, this time they will be travelling to Pursat in Western Cambodia for 10 days to help a local school project.
Working with local people, Chris and Mette will help build a much-needed classroom block at Put Tream Primary School. Constructed from wood and tin, the school’s current classrooms are not fit for purpose and are at risk of exposure from the elements which is a particular issue during the rainy season.
The creation of new classrooms will enable local children to access their right to an education in a safe and supportive environment, helping to break the cycle of poverty.
Chris and Mette have set a fundraising target of £6,400 and need your help to raise it! Any donations are greatly appreciated and can be made through the JustGiving page here.
Thank you and Good Luck to both Chris and Mette!
