The Old Printworks, Frome

Joint Venture with landowner London & County, The Old Printworks is a collection of 1, 2, 3 and 4 bedroom homes at the former Butler, Tanner & Dennis site one of Britain’s foremost colour printers. Located in Frome, named by The Times as the ‘South West’s Best Place to Live’ in 2021 the bespoke homes will offer superb contemporary living with a high-quality specification and sustainable design.

 

 

 

 

Brooks Dye Works, Bristol

An Acorn Property Group led development in conjunction with Galliard Homes. A key regeneration site in St Werburghs, Brooks Dye Works is centred around the iconic landmark chimney and features new public open space and pedestrian routes linking to the surrounding areas and neighbouring Mina Road Park.

 

 

 

 

The Courtyard at Duporth

The Courtyard at Duporth is an Acorn-led development in partnership with Somerston Healthcare Properties Limited. A unique collection of thirty-eight, 2 and 3 bedroom homes, centred around a landscaped courtyard and a Grade II listed clock tower, these homes are the first in our Lifetime Living Collection

 

The Links, Porthcawl

Joint Venture with the landowner. The Links stands proudly overlooking Rest Bay South Wales’s top surfing beach. Featuring the refurbishment and conversion of a Victorian Grade-II listed building along with a collection of carefully designed new build properties.

Brandon Yard, Bristol

An Acorn Property Group led development in partnership with Galliard Homes. One of the last undeveloped areas on Bristol’s harbourside, after planning permission was granted for 58 new homes to be built on the site of the former gas works by the Floating Harbour, featuring two Grade II listed buildings.

 

 

 

 

Hope House, Bath

An Acorn Property Group led development in partnership with Galliard Homes.

Acorn bought this site in a joint venture with Galliard Homes. This prestigious six-acre development of luxury apartments and houses includes parkland and conversion of a Grade II listed former girls’ school.

 

 

Trilogy, SE1

Joint Venture with a landowner & historic charity.

Trinity House (Maritime Charity) selected Acorn as part of a consortium that includes developers Galliard Homes and Otterlo London to transform and redevelop their site adjacent to the historic Trinity Estate in Southwark.

249 Long Lane, SE1

Joint Venture with the current landowner.

The planning, funding, construction and management of sales were all arranged by Acorn. The profit was shared with the vendor who also retained part of the site on Long Lane.

Tanner Street, Barking

Joint Venture with local authority and Housing Association.

The London Borough of Barking and Dagenham, together with Thames Valley Housing Association approached Acorn to develop a key part of the council’s dilapidated housing stock in the centre of Barking.

Pages, Muswell Hill

Joint Venture with the local authority.

Acorn won the bid for the development of Muswell Hill library. We achieved planning for 10 private apartments and four family townhouses and delivered a modern bespoke low maintenance library premises for its partner the London Borough of Barnet.

Crantock Bay, Cornwall

Joint Venture with the existing hotel owner.

Acorn obtained planning permission and developed and constructed a retail unit and leisure complex for the vendor. The freehold investment was then returned together with a much-enhanced land value.

Valentine, SE1

Joint Venture with a property developer.

For this prime SE1 location, Acorn obtained enhanced planning permission increasing the site’s potential and profitability. Acorn managed the funding, construction and sales process.

Water’s Edge, Taunton

Joint Venture with a property developer and local authority.

Working alongside St Modwen and Taunton Deane Borough Council, Acorn was chosen as the residential specialist to deliver the first phase of the regeneration of the Old Cattle Market in Taunton.
